A young soprano from Bologna, Letizia Bertoldi’s versatility in interpreting two different musical styles, Opera and Pop, has enabled her to take part in musical events of various kinds, earning the esteem of international artists and producers. She furthered her studies with Maestro Patrizia Orciani, soprano and Director of the Opera School of Bologna.
Letizia was selected for the television program Amici di Maria De Filippi, broadcast on Canale 5 for the 2020/2021 season.
She made her debut in 2017, in the role of Adina in L’Elisir d’Amore at the Teatro della Fortuna in Fano, as part of the “FanOpera Summer School 2017,” an event created and produced by the Fondazione Teatro della Fortuna and Opera School, under the Artistic Direction of Maestro Leone Magiera, former testimonial of Opera School.
She sang the role of Barbarina under the direction of Maestro Riccardo Muti in Le Nozze di Figaro at the Ravenna Festival, the Teatro Galli in Rimini, and the Piccolo Festival of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
Her roles include Gilda in Rigoletto at the Teatro Comunale Luciano Pavarotti in Modena and Praskovia in The Merry Widow at the Teatro Carlo Felice in Genoa.
Letizia was the winner of the 74th AsLiCo Competition in January 2023 and took part in a series of performances of The Magic Flute in the role of the Queen of the Night within the Lombard Circuit.and at the Teatro San Carlo in Naples, the Teatro dell’Opera di Roma, the Teatro Rendano in Cosenza, Teatro Verdi in Trieste and others.
In June 2023, she made her debut in the role of Sofia in Il Signor Bruschino at the Teatro Duse in Bologna.
In May 2024, she debuted at the Teatro Comunale di Bologna in the role of Zerlina in Don Giovanni and as Blonde in Die Entführung aus dem Serail.
In July 2024, she took part in the production of The Barber of Seville at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
In 2025, she sang Gilda in Rigoletto, conducted by Maestro Stefano Ranzani and, at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino as an artist of the Accademia del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino. In May 2025, she also performed the role of Ein Kammermädchen in Der junge Lord by Hans Werner Henze, at its Italian premiere in the original language, again at the Teatro del Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, conducted by Maestro Markus Stenz.
