Kiril Manolov was born in Sofia, Bulgaria.
He is a laureate of international competitions for young opera singers in Vienna, Warsaw, Barcelona and Sofia. Manolov has repeatedly visited opera houses in Rome, Berlin, Barcelona, Chicago, Tokyo, Copenhagen, Budapest, Lisbon, Brussels, Hamburg and others. in collaboration with some of the greatest conductors and directors in the opera world - Riccardo Muti, Carlo Rizzi, Damiano Micheletto, Arnaud Bernard, Dietrich Hilsdorf, David McVicker and others.
Kiril Manolov's repertoire contains a wide range of opera works by Verdi, Puccini, Donizetti, Rossini, Mozart, Gounod, Bizet, Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev and Kurt Weill. Cantata-oratorio works and chamber music by Bach, Beethoven, Fauré, Brahms and Rachmaninoff.
